Honestly, I've always had a giving personality and I like helping people. But I'd love to tell you a story, which really helped me make this decision. When my grandfather passed away, my grandmother was left alone. Plus, her arthritis was starting to worsen, and she began having more and more trouble preparing her meals, bathing, and getting her groceries. So we found her a caregiver and she was absolutely amazing! She stayed with my grandma for longer hours than expected, while telling stories about growing up in Europe. That was very soothing for my grandma, and that caregiver inspired me to join this field. I really try to get to know my patients. I ask a lot of questions. I ask about their feelings and if they're dealing with weighty emotions, like sadness, anger, or anxiety. I listen as much as possible and tell them they can talk to me about anything without worry. I try building trust, and it's a gradual process, but I do my best to get there.

I'm well diverse. I have the ability to sympathize with people. I'm caring . I give 100% in all task rather it's reading a book or caring for an client. I've seen most of the women in my family take on caregiving and it came very naturally to me. I put my all into my career and into the families I've helped. I want not only make this a career but a positive lifestyle. I want to be the person a family can depend on during this time of need.

I believe what makes me a great caregiver is that i'm a very patient person and i'm compassionate about everything that I do. I'm humorous ( love being able to put a smile on peoples faces!) I was a CNA in good standing with the state of Georgia for 14 years. I held a variety of positions during my career. Including hospice care, rehabilitation aid and safety coach. I like keeping elders active by doing cross words, puzzles, cards, crafts and chats. As well as anything they have an interest in. Always at their pace. I offer meditation management within a client's home. I also provide bedside care in a hospital, hospice or nursing home setting. I am very comfortable advocating for elders.
