Hello. I have been a caregiver for 20 years.I love interacting with the elderly and learning things from them. I've always gone above and beyond when working. I love reading to them and singing or just going on walks. My clients are like my family, and I treat them as such. I've always made little simple treats for them and have them become involved with things.

My personality trait is that I'm a very genuine person and I love people. What attracted me to being a caregiver was being able to be there for someone's loved one when they can't. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the joy I can bring to not only the client but their family as well. My personal achievement that I am proud of is getting my Associates degree while being a mother and a wife.

Nice to meet you all! Caring for someone is like caring for my own family. My fun and positive attitude would help me be a great caregiver. Growing up I spent a lot of time caring for my own family members. My grandmother had Alzheimer's, stopped walking and had Diabetes.I was able to give her the love she always gave me when she was able to. I also had other family members I cared for as well. That is what really got me started. Watching her kids and loved ones not want to care for her got me there. Everyone deserves to be cared for properly and carefully. I love knowing that at the end of the day I made someone's day easier or better. I know it is hard on families at times. You want to be there but may not be able to. So for me I am the fill in, the one who is there to ensure you are cared for and needs are met. I also am a mother and had a premature child. I love being a mom and wife and someone people can count on and trust. In life I have seen someone people go with love or care and that is partly what drives me to do the stuff I do today. It got me into hair, cooking and caring for others. There aren't enough people who care or have compassion for others this day in age. I wouldn't want myself, children or loved ones to be unloved or cared for.

I am 22 years old. I currently go to college to be an LPN. I like to take care of my patients as if they were my parents or grandparents. I love going outdoors &' love spending time with my family. I enjoy the times I have with all my patients &' I always make sure all my patients feel safe &' feel loved &' cared for.

I am easy to get along with. I listen to the needs of my clients. Each client has individual wants and needs. I am compassionate. I strive to provide care that I would want to receive. The kind of care that you desire for your family member to receive. I am a Certified Caregiver, I also have my Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Certification Certificate. I currently care for my mentally disabled sister in law. I also cared for my mother in law providing her with respite care. I am not new to caregiving. I have worked with several clients through Carelinx, all of them will provide me with excellent references.

I am a very hardworking caregiver. I have been doing this kind of work for close to 23 years and am very passionate what I do. I'm a good listener and try to give each person their own independence and help when needed or asked. I have a sense of humor and love to make my people happy and laugh. I love being able to be there for others. A personal achievement I am proud of is moving to North Carolina from Pennsylvania away from my family and doing it all on my own. I enjoy knowing that I help make a persons life a little easier.I helped take care of my grandmother and I remember how she would smile when we would just sit and talk or do puzzles just spending time together.Family is great and I always treat my patients like they are family.I like to see each patient enjoy their life to the very best of there ability.I have great references and I really enjoy my job and the clients I work with too.

I Feel that it is a Personal Honor to Provide the Compassion, Attention, and Daily support that is needed to Take care of our Elders as they have Cared for us. I am very compassionate with helping people - I enjoy it. I cared for my uncle and great-grandmother before they passed away, and that experience attracted me to this career field.
