I just finished my nurse aide class at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College with an A average. I received my Masters of Education degree in 2021 with a specialization in early childhood education. Since 2014 I have held numerous roles working with children and the elderly. These roles have ranged from after school counselor/site director, lead teacher, behavior technician, online ESL teacher, Direct Support Professional, Home Health Aide, Temporary Nurse Aide, Care Pro, Care Manager, Care Associate and Nurse Aide. From friends recovering from surgeries and other medical procedures to family members fighting for their lives and my many students with heath issues and extreme limitations and restrictions over the years...nothing brings me the joy and fulfillment that taking care of others brings. I always knew this career was for me because I have allot of health care problems in my family . My mother have romantic heart disease & so does her dad ( my grandpa ) & when that happened I was in high school . & I started helping take care of them & I just knew this is the field for me .
