I've always been one to care for others. My empathetic nature makes its a natural experience. I am a detail oriented person, which I find to be necessary in this field. I decided to get my CNA as a way to exercise my abilities to be a caregiver to others. I have since begun other ventures in life, but still hold a special place in my heart for caregiving

I love taking care of people and making them feel good about themselves. I have my Cosmetology License and I am a licensed practical nurse. I enjoy helping people. I am patient and very easy going.

I've worked with clients who have Alzheimer's and/or Dementia for over 14 years as a Memory Care Director and caregiver and have enjoyed every moment. I chose to be a caregiver because I wanted to have that one to one time with a client. I've met some wonderful families and clients over the years and enjoy seeing the smiles on their faces when they see their loved ones enjoying life again. The one achievement I am proud of is when I took the first step into becoming a Memory Care Director/Caregiver. My life has only been blessed because of the choice I made.

I love being a Caregiver and assisting the elderly. I have experience with Alzheimer's Disease patients, assisting with mobility and personal care, preparing meals, light housekeeping, companionship, errands, and transportation to and from appointments. I really enjoy being with the elderly and hearing their stories. I know that I make a positive impact on their quality of life. I also really enjoy taking care of my patient's pets and getting to know their family members.

I have 10+ years of experience working in healthcare. I have worked with clients who have dementia and Alzheimer's. I have also worked in a group home for adults as a direct support professional and community coach. I love working in the healthcare field and assisting clients in staying at home longer. I feel like I am making a difference in the lives of the client and their families.

I would be a good caregiver because I have helped my mom recover from different types of surgeries and know what to look for and how to help appropriately. I've also helped my father through various stages of cancer. Sometimes helping means just being there to help or smile
