I'm a experience caregiver with 15 years experience. I love helping people, it's very rewarding to help others or assist them with daily living activities.

I am a great caregiver because of my patience, my compassion for others and my attention to detail. I consider myself a very empathetic individual which makes caring for others that much easier. What made want to take on this opportunity is my great grandmother who is now passed on but while she was here I spent time taking care of her (feeding her, bathing her, entertaining her etc.) So I understand what it's like to have a family member in that situation and how they need proper care to make them comfortable. Mostly I enjoy about being a caregiver is how it makes me feel, knowing I helped someone just brings me a different type of joy. I also enjoy meeting my clients.

What attracted me most about being a caregiver was seeing other family members, who worked as caregivers, explain how impactful and meaningful it was. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping those in need. I treat all of my patients exactly how I would want to be treated if I was in the same position. Being a mother, I have learned to be patient, understanding, and responsible. Which I also transfer into my job as a caregiver. A personal achievement I'm proud of is, being close to completing my Associates degree in Criminal Justice. I hope to one day work with children in the Juvenile System.

My expertise that makes me a good caregiver is that I have patience. Being patient means that I understand that there may be changes in plans and things may not go as quickly as planned and there may be a little hesitation at times on the part of the person receiving care. Also I am compassionate when someone is going through a tough time. I am dependable. I show up to provide the care that the person needs and is counting on. I am very trustworthy, I am someone who is and will not reach that trust by taking advantage of the person that I am caring for. What attracted me into being a caregiver I grew up watching my mom and that work area and I just love how she handle people with care with so much compassion and with so much patience I love how she handled everything. I've always wanted to become a caregiver because that's all I do I love caring for those who can't care for themselves. I enjoy making lives better and easier. My Personal Achievement that I am proud of I went back to school to finish my certifications as a CNA/PCA because I really want to care for those who cannot care for themselves. And also be independent as well.

I have over 10 years of experience working as a caregiver. I'm easygoing , fun and loving individual. I started out with individuals with MR and IDD. Now I work with brain injury patients. No difference between every one being served deserves quality care and companionship.

One personal achievement that I am proud of is that whatever I set my mind to I do. The part that I enjoy most about care giving is the quality time I get to spend with the person I'm caring for, making sure all their needs are met and that I'm doing the best I can.
