I treat each client like family members with communication and a understanding approach my goal is to help provide the best care I can and to keep my clients informed of what is being done it helps them yo understand and prepare;ie(instead of lifting them up in the bed with quickness I tell them so that they know what is going on.) I became a caregiver by caring for my dieying step father they a few years later I did the same for my mother soon afterwards I started doing free lance caregiving I meet a woman who's aunt had ALS after she passed I was introduced to the woman's niece to her friend who's mother in law needed home care and therapy help as she was in early stages of dementia I cared for her For a few years until her family decided she needed assisted living in a nursing home because of her declining state. At the present I have been caring for a bed bound gentleman who is in a declining state. What I enjoy most is helping care and talking with them sharing there personal stories about there lives and adventures I also enjoy there company being a caregiver is not just coming in and caring for there personal needs and leaving it's also about conversing with them sharing things making them laugh or telling them stories that I have seen or done . My achievement that I am most proud of is helping two of my clients to become strong enough to move better through therapy one elderly client had a broken hip with time and a lot of strength exercises she was able to take a walk with a walker again and the gentleman I cared for his leg had no strength in it now he's able to move it not a lot but it got to the point he is gaining muscle back in it.

CG for two years. I help them with getting meds for bfast and lunch, meal prep, bathing, laundry and light housework, transpo to doctor's appointment.

My first experience is when I started taking care of my grandmother 4 years ago Then I fall in love just knowing that I am able to help someone in there time of need if they can't help them self be a companion. working at the nursing home give me some good experience hands-on experience knowing that I am being able to help someone care for someone be there for them in their time of need and that's what's me that's what makes me happy.
