I have 4 years of experience within home care and that expands within cleaning , medication administration bathing and basic Necessary needs , taking vitals . I like to help others with any necessary chores . I most enjoy working with seniors because I feel like they need it the most. My most proud personal achievement was having my beautiful daughter.

As a child my mother took care of elderly couples and while accompanying my mother to their homes to help take care of them, I did small tasks to help my mom have an easier day and while doing those tasks and being close to the elderly couples we created special bonds and family like feelings for each-other and it became a truly special situation to all of kids when going with our mother to help her.

I have worked around the world and have many friends and acquaintances with varying degrees of limitations and family backgrounds. I feel I am well versed in communicating and getting along with individuals of any background. I feel it is important to give our elders the feeling of being wanted and capable of living the lifestyle they are most comfortable with.

I have more than 13 years of experience working (full time) with individuals with developmental disabilities. In group, private residential, community, and classroom settings. Also in transportation. I have been told that my compassion towards them is extremely apparent. I am there for the individuals 100%. For their health and well-being but also for their quality of life. I also believe that promoting as much independence as one can have. When I have worked one-to-one or in someone's home that was where I felt I could make the most difference. I have worked in medically intensive houses as well as behavior intensive. I also worked for NYSOPWDD and am required to pass an extensive background check, which I have. I love what I do and have never been told anything other than I do it well. My heart is full when I'm caring for people. I get out of it what I put into it, if not more so. If I can make someone in my care smile, laugh or feel comfort, I feel like my day was a successful one!

I've been working as a HHA since 2016 plus I've also been working as a CNA since 2019. I am very passionate about my job and my work. I also make sure that my clients are well taken care of and I also make sure i complete my duties before I'm done.

It's been always my dream to help others. I am an enthusiastic, competent, caring and motivated person looking to to work with great clients by utilizing my experience and certifications.

I am a very compassionate woman. I understand that every person deserves individual care that meets their individual needs. I am attracted to helping a person live their best life as much as possible. I enjoy being able to make a persons day better by me being there for them. One personal achievement I am proud of is helping a former client, whom had cancer become stronger and more full of life than before I entered his life!

I am an RN looking to return to providing the care I hoped to do when I became an RN. Care, compassion, exceptional verbal and nonverbal communication, and above average critical thinking abilities are just some of the skills I possess. In a home care setting, I most enjoy the ability to provide the 1:1, quality care I would want for my own family and friends. In a facility or at home, I love utilizing my ability to discern a patient's needs, often off the beaten path. My greatest personal achievement was raising my two developmentally disabled children to become independent, upstanding citizens.
