I became a caregiver to provide warmth and comfort the the elderly and disabled. I like making the client feel secure and know that they can trust me. I give 110% to everything I do. When they see a familiar face everyday it makes them feel good and their willingness becomes better as the days go by. Their faces light up and they talk to you about anything that's on their mind. Even if they say the same things over and over again, it gives them great pleasure that you are willing to listen. Seeing the happiness on their face is the best achievement that I could ever give. Knowing that they are happy and content. I have been doing this so long, it doesn't feel like a job more like accomplishment. Helping people who can't help themselves. Lite housekeeping, medication reminder, food preparation, bed bath, baths, errands, medical visits, arts and crafts, accompanying them outside, laundry, inventory and anything else they will need. My serves is available Monday thru Friday. Full days

What makes me a great caregiver is my innate emphasis on the virtue and value of empathy. I may be physically strong, however my emotional strength is probably even more immense. I am a resilient, courageous, sensitive, compassionate and kind, which attracts me to the work of being a caregiver. What I enjoy most about this work is that it is heart-based and that I get to actually connect with human beings on a true level, additionally those who have already had plenty of life experience. A personal achievement I am proud of is having become a licensed EMT, whether or not I've pursued it as a career. And also that I am knowledgeable and familiar with complex mental health situations.
