I've been a caregiver for almost 4 years. It's something that I enjoy. I love taken care of others and those who need help with anything from a simple conversation to something more big.

I became a caregiver at 15/16. My entire family works in the healthcare field. I'm a very kind and hard driving person. My grandmother and grandfather both passing in the same year is what drove me to become a caregiver. My achievement right now is going to school to become an lpn. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is learning new things and being able to learn about my residents pasts.

I am understanding and very compassionate. When I began working as a Caregiver/Direct Support Professional I immediately knew this was the type of work I was meant to do. I greatly enjoy helping people in any way that I can and assisting them at reaching their goals. What I enjoy most about being a Caregiver is being there for others and picking them up when they are down. I have worked in many fields such as sales, customer service, construction, and manufacturing/shipping and I've realized that nothing is as fulfilling as helping others. There was one moment specifically that I am proud of regarding assisting an individual in their time of need. This individual was very angry/frustrated and was having a hard time getting to sleep. I was patient with him and prayed to myself and eventually helped him to fall into a deep sleep for many hours which is very rare for that individual. I was happy to be there for him and help him calm down so he was able to relax.

I love to help take care of elderly I took care of my grandmother since a young age and I would want someone to treat my family just how I would treat they're family , I enjoy helping them just being there for them , I am proud of being great and kind to the elderly
