Growing up my family worked and managed a nursing home, this started my connection with caregiving. By my early teen years I started to take care of my grandparents and some of their frineds so this has continued throughout my life into my mid 20's. Now I live in a whole new state and miss that connection greatly. I enjoy talking, helping, and getting to know all who I encounter. I'm verying caring and determined when it comes to the people I bring into my life. This isn't just a job it's something that I truly love doing.

Honestly, I moved in during the last year leading up to my grandfathers death. He had many issues and heath problems and i helped with everything i could. I administered his meds, emptied his stoma for his colostomy, set up his food & water (kangaroo pump). Laundry, and anything else he needed. I recently moved away from my home town (las vegas) and Im missing him so much. I would love to help out a family that needs someone who's been in their shoes & knows the difficulties of finding quality people to look after their loved ones, and i promise you- I am that girl! I am a single mother of 2 girl's. I love to take care of people. I am a great learner and great multitasker. I put pride in my work and love doing what I do.

I have been a paralegal for over 25 years. At the time of my aunt's illness, I was unemployed and able to take care of her 24/7. When I worked for Mrs. Margentino, it was on a part time basis. I also lived with and took care of my mother for 30 years, taking her to doctors, administering her medicine, shopping and light housekeeping, and preparing home cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner until she passed away in 2015. I also taught adult education coursed part time at an Adult High School for 20 years. This included counseling between parent and their children from time to time.

Three years ago I lost my mother to cancer and took total care of her during her two years of fighting this disease. A few months ago a dear friend asked me if I would like to assist this gentlemen because she knew how I cared for my mother. That is how I treat this gentlemen, just like he is my family. I truly enjoy helping others. I'm free every evening if you need to go to dinner or go to an event and currently I work all weekends with this elderly gentleman. If you need help please contact me.

I love hearing stories from my patients . I love being around them . I think the main thing that attracted me in being a caregiver is I'm a huge people person . I love being around others . I love being able to help someone as much as I can . Something I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is hearing the elders stories . I love hearing their background . I love bringing smiles to their faces . They become almost family to you . Something I am really proud of is helping my aunt open up a program through our church for the disabled. It was one of my biggest achievements . Thats when I fell in love with this career path !
