Caregiving has been my lifelong job and passion. I have spent 28 years raising a family of 6 children, 3 of which are still at home. Putting the needs of others first has always been a priority for me. In most recent years I have chosen to add caregiving to my life and continued with my career as a business owner and professor's assistant. I have chosen to do this because I feel I can always give just a bit more. My degrees in Psychology and Human Services have given me a solid understanding of human behavior and just how fragile we can be in times of need. Giving back to my community in the form of caregiving gives me the opportunity to make a difference in a person and family's life. I believe I am patient, caring, compassionate, trustworthy and I aspire to make a difference. I have also used those attributes in the positions I have held. As a professor's assistant I have the opportunity to be a support person for students professionally and emotionally. Cheering them on as they strive to achieve their goals in college. I love this! Each semester I am given the opportunity to make that difference. Providing care for those that need help so they may stay in their homes and make daily life easier is what I can do to give back. Using my skills and understanding to positively impact someone's life is something I am proud of. I was given the opportunity to care for a Dementia/Alzheimer's client for 5 years. I truly embraced each step of her illness journey providing her with understanding, care, and companionship, helping her to maintain her dignity and live her best life during those final years. On fun note, I am also a dog lover! My hobbies are spending time with my family, hiking, gardening and reading.

I am an energetic and positive caregiver! My first patient was my grandmother who was a patient of cancer for 20 years. Since then, I wanted to be able to help loved ones be comfortable in their own home where they can enjoy alot of the same things they always have. I have a passion to care for those in need. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the lessons learned by your patients and hearing the stories that make up their past!

I have done home care since 1980's 20yrs experience in Home care and facilities care, I've worked with clients with mental and physical disabilities. I am compasionate, patient and caring.

I'm a very honest and outgoing person! I love to care for people, I am currently going to school to become a medical assistant. I've grown up wanting to be a nurse all my life, I enjoy helping others. I put all my hard worth and faith into my patients! I care about their well being and give each and everyone my sympathy. I don't have much experience as an Stna or CNA but I am certified both and have worked in a nursing home as a CNA. I've worked very hard to be where I am, and I wouldn't trade it for the world!

I find such a great sense of pride in caring for people!! I am a bubbly, loving and caring person and with care taking those qualities seem to fit hand in hand. There is no better feeling than someone needing something that you can help them with. I'm very sociable and never met a stranger, as they say.

I am a fun, loving, honest gal who loves to b around other people. I choose the elderly because they seem to think life on earth is about over and they don't have much to live for. I want them to b attracted to the time I have committed to them and excited like a child with a new toy. I enjoy bringing new life back into their lonesome world. Taking care of the elderly is so fun cause I can joke with them and generally get a grin or a hug . A personal achievement is when u can get an" I love u so much" from them and know they mean it[?]

At 14 my mother became I'll with the dreaded cancer. That motivated me more to do what I love, caring for others. At 18, I landed my first job in an assisted living facility and absolutely adored it! I now do home health and am looking to expand my work.
