I am a caregiver with limited experience, however I bring empathy, dedication, and passion to every one of my positions in healthcare. I knew that I wanted to pursue a job in a health related field when I had seen my grandfather grow very ill due to a terminal cancer near the end of his life. I assisted with his care up until he had passed, which those experiences I am sure to never forget. I hope to bring the same amount of care and compassion to others who need it and to expand my career in healthcare while doing so.

Hello! My name is Edyn and I am originally from Altoona, PA. I am currently in my senior year of nursing school at IUP and will be graduating in December of 2020. I plan to become a Labor and Delivery nurse one day after graduation. I am very dedicated to this field and I believe I have a very warm heart. I recently graduated from nursing school and am currently studying to take my licensing exam to become an RN. I am compassionate, caring, & have great time management skills. I am currently certified in ACLS (advanced cardiac life support) and BLS (basic life support).

I've been a CNA since 2015, right out of high school. I love every minute of it and would never turn back. I enjoy everything about it, getting to know each person I take care of and knowing I'm helping them in a way some people can't is the greatest feeling ever!

I have experience working with Elderly and disabled individuals over the span of 8 years 5 of them I've done personal care and provided support for both elderly and disabled individuals. I've exercised an awareness for many ailments and challenges these individuals often face and hold the individuals I care for in high regard.
