I enjoy bringing independence to someone who's not willing to give up their independence. As a social worker I understand clients not wanting to be in a facility. Being able to help them do things to keep that independence like living at home is rewarding for me. I have previously been a in home caregiver to elderly client long term. We meal prepped for the week, cleaned house, getting dressed for the day, and even ran errands together including doctors appointment and grocery shopping. I would really love to build a repor with one or two new patients I could see regularly. It's not just a job when you love what you do. I love pets!! I have no problem with helping clients who have any pet.
