In the past, I worked with 6 disabled women, in the home environment. Two days out of the week, I did everything from cooking and cleaning to encouraging control over thinking and emotions through positive thinking and behaviors, running clients to doctors appointments, etc. I'm most eager to offer sincere companionship. It's safe to say that serving people is a core part of my personality. It's true that this job requires hard work, that's to be expected. Hi my name is Tracy, I'm a Mama of 2 and Nana of four. I became a caregiver many years ago and actually found out that this type of work was perfect for me and since then I have worked in nursing home, retirement home and took care of many, many clients in their homes. I am suitable for this type of work because I am a people person, especially the elderly, It makes my day to go in a home and at least get one smile out of a client but thru e to get laughs and many smile out of them. I go into a home and that is my number one priority is to make an everlasting impression by showing care and love from the bottom of my heart. I just recently spent a few years taking care of my father in law until he sadly passed away in November, And I'm not going to fib that was a challenge because eventually he had to have 24)7 care and we gave out home up and moved in with him, not to mention at the time was raising 3 small grandkids full time. But I would do it all over again without any hesitation. We had many wonderful memories with him that will last a lifetime.... And now being that I love to talk and do not like staying at home all day by myself I'm ready to help care for your lioved one. And now that I personally had to care for a family member I know first hand you need a break so let me help you with that.

I've always wanted to be a nurse/caregiver

I was raised around seniors all my life visiting nursing homes my mom worked at and volunteering. After closing my personal care business I wanted to do work to make a difference. I became a caregiver and can truly say I love what I do. My clients are like family to me and it gives me great joy to help them with all of their needs. I go above and beyond at all times providing support, kindness and excellent care. In addition to my work as a caregiver I often volunteer at my mothers senior community helping her neighbors with whatever they may need. I consider them family and love to give back to the community.
