I love helping them with their daily lives, chores, (helping with bathing, dressing, light house cleaning, cooking and feeding. Medicine reminders or giving medicine to them)and keeping them active. I have worked with clients that range with nothing wrong they just wanted companionship to ones who have dementia, and on hospice care. It makes me happy knowing that I can help them and help their families and giving them a break when they need one. I understand being a caregiver is a hard job and can be overwhelming at times for families. If I can help them out that is what I want to do. I love hearing their stories and about the old days for them.

I have worked in skilled nursing homes, assisted living homes, hospitals, Alzheimer's units, and my personal favorite in home settings. I have had CNA certification, med tech, first aid and CPR, diabetic care training, wound care, and more. I take great pride in my work. It's more than a paycheck to me. I feel that when u hire a caregiver you are bringing in someone as family to take care of your loved one like family

I think one of my greatest Gifts, attributes, and My Proudest Strengths is my Love and Compassion for Children and the Elderly. It fills my heart with joy to watch a child giggle or an elderly person laugh knowing that they are loved and being taken care of by me. I helped my Mom care for my Dad when he was diagnosed with Scleroderma. For over 2 years I administered his many medicines, checked his vitals, oxygen levels and his breathing treatments. I also helped my Mom take him to Vanderbilt for his many appointments. Even though he passed from this horrific disease I felt Blessed that he knew I was there with him and My Mom taking Loving care of him. My current elderly couple I have been caring for are moving in with their children so they can be closer. I desire to stay in a caregiver position for the elderly as I feel that God has given me this Gift to help the elderly have laughter and joy in their aging years. I also receive Blessings and Knowledge from them as they talk about their journeys through life. I have a deeper sense about true hardships and sacrifices our elderly have endured to make our lives better.

I am a people person I love the elderly I do not like abuse and I think that they should go every day with a smile on their face and no worries they paid their debt to society and it's time for them to be old and be happy and be peaceful and I'm there to do that for them and help them no need to putting them in a nursing home when they are love to care for the home everything is fine they don't need a nursing home
