I love helping them with their daily lives, chores, (helping with bathing, dressing, light house cleaning, cooking and feeding. Medicine reminders or giving medicine to them)and keeping them active. I have worked with clients that range with nothing wrong they just wanted companionship to ones who have dementia, and on hospice care. It makes me happy knowing that I can help them and help their families and giving them a break when they need one. I understand being a caregiver is a hard job and can be overwhelming at times for families. If I can help them out that is what I want to do. I love hearing their stories and about the old days for them.

I started being a caregiver well over 20 years ago for my own grandmother. It was very rewarding in many different ways. Also very tough when she passed away on me, but I saw how much me being there helped her on every level and I like to do that for others. My personal achievement is being a single mother of 11-year-old boy/girl twins. They are amazing in every way and I'm blessed to call them mine.
