I have been working overnights for over a year at a group home with patients with dementia, schizophrenia, autism and cerebral palsy. Every person, no matter their cognitive or physical ability, deserve the same compassion and respect that every abled body person dose. I enjoy talking with my patients and getting to know them as I care for their needs. I have had clients that were more difficult than others but I can see past those flaws and care for the human inside.
