My name is Susan Kiarie Moturi. I have been a caregiver and a Medication Aide for the past 17 years, both in facilities and in-home private care, especially with different forms of dementia like Alzheimers, Parkinson, Vascular and lewy body dementia. I am a good listener, patient, detail oriented and compassionate. I love to organize too. After the diagnosis of our mother with Alzheimers, I realized how much care she needed and in return I knew this is what I wanted to do as a career. What I enjoy the most about caregiving, is seeing the relief of families when I am there to help, in the comfort of their own homes. I have an Associate Degree in Nursing from Ivy Technical College of IN. I have worked in an Assisted Living facility in IN as well as a nursing facility. I prefer caring for an individual that would love to live in their own home independently. I have experience with Alzheimer's, mobility impairment and strokes. I am experienced in medicine administration. I have knowledge of diabetes and meal planning.

I'm a mother of 4. I have been working in the medical field for 28years. I'm also a NRCMA have experience in home health also in a family practice clinic and urent care clinics as well.I have worked alot with Dementia/Alzheimer's patients. I'm also certified in First Aid/ CPR. Im a very loving and personable person.

I am a respectful and respecting lady. I love to care for the elderly as I want them to be happy, meet their basic needs, and be adjusted with their changes in health as life goes on. I have also seen that older people than myself like me. I did not have grandparents in my life, so I have a place for such elderly in my heart. Ever since I started visiting nursing homes and talking to them, I felt satisfied that I am meaningful to them and they enjoy my giving them company and sharing their thoughts. I am very outgoing I love taking care of the elderly I have a passion for what I do. Making sure they are Happy and getting the care they need and deserve. Treating them with love and respect. My 1st caregiver job was my Aunt that was very sick. I took care of her until the end of life. And then my grandparents. And it just went on from there. And I knew it was my calling. Because I loved what I did. What I like most is the wisdom and conversations of there life the things they did when they were young. It's amazing to sit down vh and just listen and give thembloge and attention. I am most proud of the many Elderly people that I have taken care of and known in the 31+ years I have been a caregiver and I wouldn't change it for anything it taught me a lot. I learned so much from every patient. And that has been my greatest reward and Achievement.
