I am a 44 year old married mother of 1 College student and a Veteran. I have been doing Home Health Care on and off for the past 20 plus years. I nursed my own grandmother through a partial mastectomy and knee surgery. I assisted in hospice care for my husband's mother. I understand how hard it is to keep a job and to care for family members. I am not a fan of nursing homes I feel it is better for one to be at home with family and familiar surroundings. I began my journey 8 years ago when I became a certified nursing assistant. I have worked in long term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, memory care facilities, hospice, and the hospital. I did not know what I was getting myself into in the beginning but somehow I felt that helping others was meant for me. Being a caregiver is who I am. I enjoy people and connecting with them even when it is a challenge to do so. Every person is unique and has different needs. I always do my best to make them feel comfortable while finding joy in the day. I am currently in my second year of nursing school with a graduation year of 2024. I have 3 children plus 3 step children age in range of 10-17. I have a four legged, super furry son name Kai. I work on the weekends on the med/surg unit at the hospital. Now that school is starting up I have time available to do what I love and that is helping others live a better life.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I have over 25+ experience. I have been in the medical field, worked in hospital setting, clinic setting and in private practice caregiving. I have a wide range of caregiver experience from pediatric, adult and geriatric.

I love to work as a certified nurse's assistant helping others with their needs. I'm easy going, fast learner, very patient, and respectful. I will be the extra hands for your love ones and will assist any way that I can. Mobility, Meals, light housekeeping, shower, Meditation reminders, bathing and companion ship.

I have been a caregiver for almost about 3 years i love being a caregiver what made ne become a caregiver is my mother she was a CNA and also my grandma I used to take care of my grandma before she passed away ever since then i wanted to take care of others

When working I treat my clients with love make them feel like if I was one of there family members. Treat with respect being a caregiver makes me happy I love seeing them smile just to treat them how I would want some body to treat my love ones. making them smile

I use to take care of my grandma until she pass away. That brought me close to taking care of people and then when i had my son it was everything to me up to now I'm still taking care of him and also I'm a teacher as well i love my kids here at school they bring so much joy to me.

I love to talk and laugh with people. I am trustworthy and compassionate in being helpful. I enjoy caring for others. What attracted me to being a caregiver is when I started taking care of my husband from a critical accident.

I'm a hard working highly motivated worker and are good with following direction and fast hands on.
