Hello I'm a mother of 5 who has been in the business of helping people for many years. I love making someone's day, I'm a very compassionate and caring person , I love what I do. At the young age of 15 my grandfather was sick with cancer and was put on hospice and he only trusted me to help with certain things at the end of his life and that made me want to continue to help the vulnerable. I went to school for medical assistance and realized I wanted to be more hands on with people, so I continued on to my path of caregiving and I have plenty of experience. I worked with bigger companies and I was noticing the lack of empathy for the elderly so I want to make a difference. I want to change the way that they are being cared for, they deserve the very best and I believe I can be that.

Acts of Service.... My personal Love Language. For as long as I can remember, caring and doing for others brought me joy. I spent summers with my grandmother, picking up women in nursing homes, taking them to her beauty shop to have their hair done, then going out for a special lunch or a shopping trip. It was those early memories that impressed upon me a desire to be of service to others. As a high school teacher, every day provided opportunities to serve and provide for students and familes in my community and now that I have retired, I have an opportunty to be of service to those who can no longer help themselves. It is truly an honor to care for those who spent their lives caring for others.

I am a loving, compassionate caregiver, who believes in providing the highest degree of quality care and service to patients in their homes, assisted living, memory care, Hospice or other types of facilities; and am seeking the opportunity to give back to our elderly, the respect and caring they deserve. I think the Lord has called me to this type of work so that He, in working through me, shares the comfort, peace and love, that only He can give. I have discovered in working with the terminally ill or those in Hospice, that they end of blessing me far more as I learn about their background, family, spiritual beliefs -- they become my family. One of my most precious moments, was being with a sweet lady who was at the end of life. As the CD's played soft music of old hymns and after praying and reading scripture to her for several days; I experienced her smile and hand on my cheek, just before the angels escorted her from this world into Glory.
