I have patience and I love to sit with them and chat . They need someone to care for them as well as hear them out . Hear their stories hear them out , see their face light up knowing they are cared for . My only down fall is I get attached and it hurts my heart when I see them go . I have years of home health experience. Great people person, with patience, and some medical skills. Being a care giver is a easy occupation as i have been caring for my elderly mother for years now. It also keeps me ony toes as we know health changes from day to day. Having medical assistant background also makes this task a bit easier being that i have some medical training.

What I like most as a caregiver is providing what they need such as being their extra hand at the time. Being companion to them, prepping their daily meals and assisting with their meds.

To have a patient to being speechless to even a good morning is a huge difference to me. Its what makes me want to go to work every day and know I will continue to make a difference in someones life.
