I have been a caregiver and a Medication Aide for the past 17 years, both in facilities and in-home private care, especially with different forms of dementia like Alzheimers, Parkinson, Vascular and lewy body dementia. I am a good listener, patient, detail oriented and compassionate. I love to organize too. After the diagnosis of our mother with Alzheimers, I realized how much care she needed and in return I knew this is what I wanted to do as a career. What I enjoy the most about caregiving, is seeing the relief of families when I am there to help, in the comfort of their own homes.
