I became a caregiver due to the fact my grandparents who both raised me both passed away in nursing homes. After I saw the care and how they were being treated, I made the decision to become a nurse assistant so I could possibly make a difference. I feel as though I have, I love what I do and couldn't see myself doing anything else. I'm a very compassionate person with a big heart and I truly enjoy helping others. I'm a good talker but a better listener and will do anything to make sure my patient is comfortable and taken care of emotional, physically, and personally. This is my calling and I have enjoyed these last 11 years doing this.

What really got me into caregiving was the passing of my own grandmother, by me living out of town I never got to spend those last days with her which left me in great pain. That is why I started seeing what I can do to help out in the senior community. I cook I do light cleaning such as laundry, dishes, lining changes etc. I have other services that I offer as well I have my cosmetologist license, I offer manicures pedicures and haircuts, I do art classes and I'm also a licensed security officer so I'm trained see any danger coming if we happen to be on a outing.
