I became a certified nursing assistant in May of 2000. I have worked in many specialties in the healthcare field which consists of med-surg, telemetry,Icu,Brain and Injury, Rehab and Pacu. I also worked in Hospice, and home health for 15 years. I am currently working towards Nursing degree.

I have been a caregiver 40 years. Always had a good repore with elderly growing up. Being there to help a loved one played a major roll in my job. I have a tendency of going beyond my job description, at work, I like to hear how the patient's day is going and build a friendly relationship with them. By doing so, I know and understand them better, mood wise and attitude. Being a caregiver disciplines me and shows me the other side of people who can not help themselves, so it becomes a blessing to say I help others. I also dance so physical fitness is also one of my passion along with physical therapy. I am proud of the fact that anytime a patient gets discharged, a thank you card is left with my name on it. My job is not easy but hearing a thank you makes it better.
