I've been doing this type of career for 28 years and love what I do I also would love to go get my LPN to further my career this fall 2023 then I'll be able to do more an help out more with my clients, then I can now, I wouldn't change my career for anything it what I've wanted to do my whole life and it runs in my family, and I intend to do for rest of my working life, it not a job to me it a career and it like taking care of my own family and love ones, my clients mean everything to me, I'm there for my clients to help them feel safe and comfortable with there ADL and being home, I am proud to have been in my career for over 28 years, an Im proud to add many more years to it, and have my LPN this year 2023, I also have both of my covid-19 shots so I am good to go with the covid-19, I also work with all types of care,

I have more than 13 years of experience working (full time) with individuals with developmental disabilities. In group, private residential, community, and classroom settings. Also in transportation. I have been told that my compassion towards them is extremely apparent. I am there for the individuals 100%. For their health and well-being but also for their quality of life. I also believe that promoting as much independence as one can have. When I have worked one-to-one or in someone's home that was where I felt I could make the most difference. I have worked in medically intensive houses as well as behavior intensive. I also worked for NYSOPWDD and am required to pass an extensive background check, which I have. I love what I do and have never been told anything other than I do it well. My heart is full when I'm caring for people. I get out of it what I put into it, if not more so. If I can make someone in my care smile, laugh or feel comfort, I feel like my day was a successful one!

Taking care of my elderly Great Grandparents is what persuaded me to start working in healthcare. I love getting to know each and every one one of my residents/clients. I love hearing stories from the "good ole days" I really like getting to know each client on a personal level so we both feel comfortable working together.

I adore all my clients and treat them as if they are family. I always wanted to work in the health field because, care giving comes so natural to me. I love helping others in their time of need. I'm a very compassionate person and I feel as though I enjoy being able to make someone feel as they are not alone and they will always have someone there to help them with the things they are unable to do . My name is Paryese Becker. I am a hairdresser and owned a shop in my house for 14 years. I've been married for over 29 years and have raised four children, When they went to college, I did also. I successfully received my degree in AAS and became a COTA. I also took care of my terminally ill daughter who passed away in 2016 from brain cancer. I have word four years as an activities director for an assisted living facility. Also, I have recently opened a coffee lounge .

I am reliable, friendly, very patient, honest and I think I have a warm personality. Above all, I love helping people. I'm from Brazil, so my first language is Portuguese, but I have been spending a lot of time in the USA, so I speak fluent English. I have personal and professional references. I have a Master's Degree in Counseling by Florida Christian University, Orlando, FL (2008). I like to work with elders because I learn a lot with them.

My friends, co-workers and family would all agree I am a great person for the job. My positive attitude, patience and willing to help others are 3 reasons. I do not smoke, love animals and stay active. I would encourage getting outside, fresh air and socializing. My 3 grandsons are the loves of my life and my 2 daughters have made me very proud and a great source for ice breaking conversations.

I've been caretaking once I was 12. Mostly babies and toddlers but I'd like to expand my horizons to see if nursing is something I would like to do. I will do everything In my favor to relieve all necessary tasks. I absolutly love helping people and I want to body to feel inconvenient because that's what I am here for!
