I've been doing this type of career for 28 years and love what I do I also would love to go get my LPN to further my career this fall 2023 then I'll be able to do more an help out more with my clients, then I can now, I wouldn't change my career for anything it what I've wanted to do my whole life and it runs in my family, and I intend to do for rest of my working life, it not a job to me it a career and it like taking care of my own family and love ones, my clients mean everything to me, I'm there for my clients to help them feel safe and comfortable with there ADL and being home, I am proud to have been in my career for over 28 years, an Im proud to add many more years to it, and have my LPN this year 2023, I also have both of my covid-19 shots so I am good to go with the covid-19, I also work with all types of care,

Taking care of my elderly Great Grandparents is what persuaded me to start working in healthcare. I love getting to know each and every one one of my residents/clients. I love hearing stories from the "good ole days" I really like getting to know each client on a personal level so we both feel comfortable working together.

I love helping others, showing companionship. Helping them with their daily routines. I became a care giver not only to make myself happy, but to help make other lives easy.

Through my past and current family experience of care taking. I will provide compassion, empathy, patience and companionship. I am trust worthy, reliable and knowledgeable in prescription administration. I am dependable for transportation whether it is a doctor's appointment or a fun outing. I am a good cook but understand dietary restrictions. I am aware of the importance of a clean and sanitary environment. I'm respectful and compliant of clients wishes. My goal is to utilize my skills to improve the quality of life for those I care for.

I am a natural-born caregiver. Caring for others has been a skill that naturally came to me. I am fun, loving, outgoing, and have a very big heart. I enjoy meeting new people. One of my biggest reasons for being a caregiver is the satisfaction you have at the end of the day, knowing you helped another person and left a positive impact on their day.

Being an exceptional private caregiver calls for more than just being good with people, it requires proper training and experience. I am certified in CPR and Dementia Patient Care. I am trained and have hands on experience with; diabetic monitoring, vital signs monitoring, oxygen therapy, catheter care, wound care, pressure ulcer prevention, wheelchair safety and transfers, infection control, medicine management, nutrition, and client care documentation.

I am out going and fun to be around. I can tell corny jokes and make sure that you are having a good day. I have many years of helping or taking care of older people. What attracted me to caregiving was being able to help people and to be able to hear their stories from their life. I definitely enjoy the stories and learning about people and what they have experienced. An achievement that I am proud of would be putting myself through college and aiming for both an associates and bachelors degree.
