I've been a caregiver on and off for the past 20 years I've worked with Developmentally disables individuals children, paraplegic quadriplegic guys and girls, and elderly from just very minor help to hospice. Hi, I wanted to give you a little info about me and what I can do to help you or a loved one. I am very compassionate, patient, attentive, and reliable. I enjoy working with elderly patients. I helped take care of my parents and parents in law until their deaths. I have also helped many other over the years with everything from cooking, cleaning, transportation to appointments and grocery shopping. Toileting, assisting with mobility, bathing, medicatiom reminders, and more. I like to take the time to get to know my elders and to understand what they like, dislike, and to make life as comfortable for them as I am able. I understand that some have difficulties with accepting help and will give them as much independence as is safe and allowable according to their specific limitation and needs. I am there to help not take over and to assist and protect to the best of my abilities.

I am conscientious, caring, and a great listener. I focus on my client's preferences to their routines, preparation of meals, maintaining a clean home and tasks they would like completed. I understand the need for reliability and trustworthiness, and it makes me very happy when my clients become comfortable knowing they can depend on me.

I love helping people, my heart is all in when I'm caring for my clients/patients. I can build strong relationships with the harder to care for clients, troubleshoot how to care for dementia/alzheimer patients rather quickly like for an example we had a dementia patient that had not had his teeth brushed in 6 months. I worked with his wife to get him a toothbrush and toothpaste that he used at home, he finally let us help do dental hygiene.
