What makes me a great caregiver? I have a calm and compassionate demeanor and enjoy listening to the stories my clients tell me about their life. I was attracted to caregiving when my mother became unable to take care of herself after a fall in 2011. It was my opportunity to give back and it taught me patience, understanding, and the need to anticipate their needs without being asked. I enjoy the feedback I get from those I care for. They let me know how much they appreciate what I do. I personally feel a sense of accomplishment with my clients when I realize I have earned their trust. They tend to ask for me on subsequent occasions.

Hi my name is Jessica Albright, I enjoy helping my family and my community. I realized I enjoyed taking care of people when I started helping my grandmother with cleaning, errands, taking her to her appointments. The most thing I'm proud of is being able to help my family and community.

I love being a caregiver because my brother is 26 and autistic. & I'm 21. So I've had to take care of him my entire life. & I love the responsibility of taking care of someone the right way & knowing they are taken care of. I'm proud to take on a role like this because it's rewarding.

I am a fun loving mother of 3. I do with those who may need someone in their live to help with daily needs. My grandmother raised me, and still to this days flies from California to see my children. I never want someone to feel like they have no one, the elderly cared for me my whole life. I have alot of love too give back.

My personality is out going, I am kind, sweet, and I love other people like Jesus does to the best of my ability. I'm very good with meeting people and having a first good impression. I always liked taking care of people, and feel like I can help by taking care of other people. It makes me feel good as a person. So got certified after my GED, and got a job as a CNA I absolutely loved it . So I thought I would further my career I am now in nursing school also..I enjoy making other's smile. I am proud of myself for not giving up and trying to be someone, and thankful I have the love in my heart to give to others I think that's a huge quality trait that everyone would be proud of.

Hello! My name is Erica! I have been in caregiving for a while now, it started with animals and I loved that for almost 10 years then I realized I wanted to do something bigger and I began my job at riverpark hospital as a mental health technician. I work with children, adolescents and adults. Each patient remembers me when I walk into their unit, they always make my day so much better. I have a smile that'll light up a room and a laugh thats contagious. I recieved custody of my step fathers son who was non-verbal autistic back in 2015, I taught him to feed himself, dress himself and even shower! We began working on words and had accomplished quite a few when the state took him back in 2016. It was short lived but it peaked my interest in helping others. Caregiving to me is so full of benefits for not only the patient but myself, I have realized not only can I teach but I can also learn from my patients. I have a very active life outside of work and I want to help others be active and healthy as well!
