I have been working as a Caregiver over a 8 yeara now and I love it. You get to meet new people all the time. I work my own hours. A lot of time the people I have worked for just wanted companionship with lite cleaning. I choose Saturday to work because this my second job. Enclosure I would love to bring Joy, Peace. I became a caregiver because i love taking care of the elderly and people as a whole. Being able to give quality care at a high level of gratitude and expectation is what motivates me. One of the things I'm most proud of is a time when i walked in on a resident at the nursing facilities where i worked and his countenance just didn't look right so i asked the resident was he ok. He said yes but i just didn't have peace about it,so i called the nurse. To my surprise, he was on the verge of having a stroke due to the fact that i went to check in on him saved his life in time. And for that, I'm forever greatful.

I have been in the health care setting for over twenty years. I learn at an early age from my mother about how important and rewarding it is to take care of the elderly. My mother toke care of her mother and father and aunt and uncle. She brought them in her home and toke care of them. I helped her with them. Then I brought my mother and my father in my home and toke care of them with help of my husband till they pass in 2009. I've worked at three different hospital over twenty years. I am now 56 years old and work as a caregiver. I enjoy my job it is very rewarding work. I was also a foster parent so I enjoy children as well.
