I'm a God fearing, transparent , easy going lady and ready to work under no supervision. After completing my high school, i started taking care of my grand parents and this attracted me to be a caregiver when I came here in the U.S. Since the most people I have been taking care of in this field of caregiving are old, I enjoy most especially socializing with them and learning more from them. my personal achievement I'm proud of is taking good care of people the way i would also like to be taken care of .

I am 20 years old, and I wanted to become a caregiver because I thoroughly enjoy helping people in need. I plan to become a Registered Nurse so I can further my career in care giving. I am patient when it comes to taking care of the elderly, I am highly respectful of them and let them set the pace when there is a certain everyday living activity we are accomplishing; I do my best to encourage them and let them make decisions about their care so they can stay as independent as possible, and it is my personal goal each day to walk in with a smile on my face to ensure that my patient and their families know I am more than happy to help them in any way that I can. I am also very understanding when it comes to families worrying about certain things with their lived one(s) and do my best to assure them that I will always keep my patient's best interest at heart. I do my best to comfort families during the grieving process when their loved one(s) pass away by praying for them and telling them they will be in my prayers, and that God will be with them through the difficult time.

Not available at this time. I'm so sorry but I can recommend someone professional and just as caring..My name is Megan I'm 31 years old.. Caregiving gives me so much pride and makes my heart full. I have known since I was young what i wanted to do in life. I wanted to be a Mom, wife and I wanted to care for others. When I got my first job as a caregiver I knew I was right where I belonged. Its physically and mentally challenging on a loved one to always have to do everything and especially if their not trained or knowledgeable about what they need to do. Its honestly a full time job. That's where my help comes in. At the end of The day the stories I get to hear and the knowledge they share with me is priceless. These are people that have lived life and were once probably caring for someone else so now it's my turn to take care of them. I wanna show them they are still important and deserve to be cared for . I take care of each person with the joy and love as I did my very 1st client .. It still brings me so much happiness and just humbles me. I'm patient, I'm compassionate and very understanding. Most importantly I listen and talk with them. If they cant I will play music or read to them. I will bath them and change them if they are incontinent. My time with them Is just that. They have my full attention. It can be challenging and hard to trust someone with your loved ones. I vow to care for them professionally and compassionately.

My husband had a severe head trauma in 1997. I retired early from Bellsouth to take care of him. He passed away in 2012. I realized how much I enjoyed caring for others from being his Caregiver for 15 years. I love making their days happier and filled with someone caring for just them. My last patient passed away a few weeks ago, I took care of her for almost a year. Her family and her told me that she was always happy to see me show up, and they were happy that she was enjoying our visits, and felt comfortable going to work and leaving her with me. I am a caring, compassionate person who truly enjoys helping others.

I began my career in Healthcare in a hospital laboratory as a venipuncturist/phlebotomist in 1979 in Birmingham, Al. My job was to collect blood from the patients in every unit in this 7 floor hospital and through the years moved to other hospitals and clinics. My career took me in a different direction until a good friend called me and her father had passed and her mother has Alzheimer's. So I went to Florida from Alabama and attended the funeral and saw the need my friend had for her mother's care!! I volunteered to stay in Florida and take care of her. This I did until her mother needed more than one person to take care of her needs and was put in nursing home care. I then decided I would like to continue this kind of work and got my CNA license and I'm enjoying my job today more than ever because it's so rewarding and every client is so unique and different!!
