I assist with all daily living (can be modified to fit your personal requests and needs such as transportation, light meal prep, cleaning house, and even taking care of pets or children with no additional pay). Such as dressing, safely transferring from one part of the house to another, showers, baths, bed bathes if immobile, changing and assistance in the restroom, assist with feeding, or simply being a companion. I do it all. From 3 to 6 different people at the same time efficiently. I have very special and personal relationships with all of my residents and they know that I truly have a special place in my heart. I love my job all the way down to the dirty. My first "client" was when I was 17 covering for my mother on an in home private caregiving job for a patient with late stage Dementia. I have work with several different situations over the years I make it my passion to keep your love one in there home safely fir as long as possible. I started my journey in caregiving at the age of 17 when my grandfather loss both legs to gangrene he was a type 2 diabetic and needed 24 hours of care I found satisfaction in caring for my grandfather making sure he could stay home and live his everyday life was the best which made me want to help others after I lost my grandfather many years later. I enjoy being a caregiver because I get to help people stay safely in there own homes longer than they would be able to without having a caregiver to help them and knowing that family members can go do things they need to do without having to worry about their loved ones. I have come in so many homes as a stranger and left as a family member and I cherish each and every one of them I may have helped them but they taught me so much more!!
