What attracted me to being a caregiver is that I love taking care of people. I used to be the caregivers for my grandparents up until my grandfather that passed away in 2018. I got my license because I wanted to be more equipped to help. What I love most about Caregiving is the one on one care you are able to give to someone who needs it. Some traits I feel that help me are that I consider myself a very loving and caring person so I feel I am able to give better care because of it. I am the type of person to be who trys to be fully informed about the patient in my care. I like to be thorough so that I am able to assist the patient or person at hand to the fullest according to my capacity and above, in regards to needing hospital or doctor assistance. I am proud of the person I have developed into because of being a caregiver.

Skills & Certifications: Vision and Eye Disorders, Tracheotomy / Ventilation, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Stroke, Skin Disorders, Respiratory Disorders, Renal and Urological Disorders, Post Surgery Recovery, Palliative Care, Orthopedic Care, Parkinson's Disease, Neurological Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, Hospice Care, Home Health Care, HIV/AIDS, Hearing Disorders, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Diabetes, Depression, Dementia, COPD, Cardiovascular Disorders, Cancer Recovery, Blood Disorders, Arthritis, Alzheimer's Disease, ALS

Unlike some caregivers I actually enjoy my job. Nursing is my passion and being a caregiver is a start. I am going to be attending college at San Jacinto Community College. What i enjoy the most of being a caregiver is knowing I'm accommodating the client to his/her needs. I am proud that at age 19 I've won an all paid trip to UC Davis for the Convention of Medical Professionals to experience the possibilities. I am making my family proud everyday that i dedicated myself to moving forward with advancing my career. Thank you for taking the time and consideration in looking into me.
