I can assist with medical appointments. Most of my clients have some type of memory loss in different stages. I am a mother of one adult child and proud grandmother of a 2 ( 1 just born this year 2024) one grandson who is in college. I have done private catering and I enjoy cooking and juicing fruits and vegetables. I do private over night care and hospice separately from Carelinx. I am very patient and compassionate. I took interest in Caregiving 25 years ago when I needed to earn extra money on top of my regular place of employment. Since then I've worked both for an agency and also do private caregiving. I enjoy and find it very rewarding to help someone in need and hope that someday if needed I'll have someone with my abilities and personality to care for me. I find it very rewarding to be there for someone in need and to also meet new people. I once was told that you cannot make caregiving personal and I absolutely disagree with that. The client becomes your friend whom relies on you for so much. My personal achievement that I'm most proud of is becoming the hard working caring mom and wife I am. I love making people happy

I have experience working in assisting living environments. I also been working in in- home care settings. I worked +2 years in working with disabled adults. Skilled in assisting patients with daily activities. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver was when I would see my mom caring for her dad and she would have a hard time and she didn't know how to find help and I would try helping her even if it was helping to set up clothes for the day or helpings in making a meal. So now that I'm getting older I want to be prepared to one day be able to personally care for my parents. I'm looking to leverage my passion & commitment to clients well- being to improve their quality of life. I always care for a client the same way I would care for a family member I have compassion, empathy and understanding that they still want to be independent and assist when needed. Helping others and bringing joy to their lives is a accomplishment anyone can feel proud of.

I've been in the service for 27 years now. I have a child with disability, and I learned a lot from him in regard to assisting and helping him. That motivates me helping the elderly people. I also like gardening and outdoor recreations.
