I really enjoy helping people. No matter age gender. I've been doing this for quite sometime. I think the most I enjoy is being a companion. Cooking and cleaning a given but also just taking the time to listen and talk. I am a grandmother and being that is my biggest achievement ever!!!

When I was younger my older brother had went into the medical field and it opened my eyes to something I truly enjoy. I had left high school my sophomore year and went to college and got my CNA license, shortly after obtaining that I went back and got my GED. I truly enjoy being a caregiver or even someone who just gets to help people and give them the care they need.

I love to cook different types of food. I have lived in Mexico where I learned Spanish and how to cook Spanish food. I also know sign language. I love to read books and arts and crafts. I grew up with family members in the medical field. And have always enjoyed helping and caring for people . I enjoy hearing about other peoples life stories. I am very proud of myself for going back to school and earning my degree.

Hello! My name is Maddy and I am originally from Dove Creek, Colorado. After graduating from Colorado Mesa University in May of 2022, I have moved back down to the area. I am the first person in my family to graduate college. Although I majored in Criminal Justice, my main goal was to learn how to help people. The only experience that I have is what I have done to take care of my grandmother. Before leaving for college, my grandma suffered a massive heart attack, to which I helped my mom take care of her. She has since suffered a few strokes and has to have around-the-clock care. She has been my inspiration for caregiving, especially after she had an LPN for almost 35 years. My mom was also a CNA for awhile and I hope to follow in their footsteps. I enjoy being there for people, being a listening ear, as well as helping them with everyday tasks.

I have years of personal family experience as well as volunteering at old folks/Alzheimers units. I've also worked in dietary at a skilled nursing home. My personal passion is just caring and keeping folks comfortable in possibly their last days with respect and dignity

I am a mother of 5, grew up second oldest of 5 with a very large family. That being said I have been taught and learned patience and understanding. I have a love for people and a great need to help them to the best of my abilities. I have a listening ear, caring heart, great head on my shoulders and strive to help others. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being there for those who either don't have anyone or feel like all hope is lost and that they don't have anyone because people don't understand the life change we go through as we grow. What attracted me most was having the skills and heart to be able to understanding and outwork in this field, having the patience and skill set from my bring up to provide care in all scenarios for being a caregiver. I'm most proud of myself for the heart and hard work I put into everything I set out to do. I'm a firm believer if you think it's just a job it's not for you, so do something you will enjoy and be proud of. And to me that's taking care of the ones in need.
