I became a caregiver because I love caring for others and I like knowing that I made a difference in someone's life. I am very proud of myself for becoming independent. I am very friendly, honest, a people person, and I am always smiling, even on my worst days. I have a great sense of humor and I also love anticipating the needs of others.

What makes me a great caregiver is my inability to give up. I will push until my patient receives the proper treatment and is fully satisfied. I love working as a caregiver making sure my client has comfort when no one else is around and they always have a smile until their no longer requesting my service. I got into this field with my own experience dealing with my grandmother who died from Alzheimer's it was really hard not being able to speak up for her and make her feel more comfortable so I vowed to speak up for those in need and make sure to never fail them.

I have over 4 years of experience in care giving and I loved every year, I enjoy what I do because I get to see life from a different perspective, I get to be someone's eyes, assistant and helper. I love that I get up everyday and be someone trustworthy and safe to be around. I love seeing people happy, well taken care of and feeling safe and I make an effort to bring that to my clients every time I show up. My greatest achievement in life is knowing that ever since I started this line of work, no family ever regretted choosing me. I've been in home care for 14+ years. I worked for Hospice for 6 years, Parkinsons, TBI, stroke, and developmental disabilities patients and etc. I love what I do because I treat all my clients like if they were my family and also the way I would like to be treated. What attract me to Homecare was when I was in high school I used to work in the nursing home. And I am proud of making my patient happy seeing a smile on a face. That makes me know that I am doing my job right.

I have 5+ years experience working as a caregiver.I started caregiving for my grandmother when she got sick and never stopped caring for the elderly. Some of the duties that I have performed during my caregiving career are:Bed bath,feeding,checking vitals,giving medication,daily exercise,light housekeeping Hoyer lifting and running errands.
