After my grandmother got out the hospital she needed a caregiver. So I offered to help my grandmother with her basic needs around the house . I been taking care of her for a year before she passed away . That made me want to get into the medical field and start helping others like her . I've now been a CNA for six years and I can honestly say I love what I do .

What makes me a great caregiver is my inability to give up. I will push until my patient receives the proper treatment and is fully satisfied. I got into this field with my own experience dealing with my grandmother who died from Alzheimer's it was really hard not being able to speak up for her and make her feel more comfortable so I vowed to speak up for those in need and make sure to never fail them.
