I feel the elderly paved the way for our generation, have put in many years of their heart and soul into our communities in some way and deserve to be in their own environment where they feel comfortable and safe. I became a care giver when my dad had prostate cancer, I assisted him to doctor appointments, home health care and hospice. As I watch my dad who was a strong caring provider become weaker every day and pass away in Hospice, I laid on the bed beside him and I promised him I would always provide care and loving support to everybody that I could. I will always be his little girl. I feel good being important to someone, what ever they need..
