My name is Megan and I am a loving caregiver. After I watched my great grandmother suffer from cancer I stood by her bed and took care of her until her last friend. I worked alongside with hospice that stayed 24 hours to accompany her. I enjoy taking care of people who are no longer able to do it themselves. I am a single mom so I do have compassion, drive, flexibility, stability, patience and a friendly smile.

She helped me to look at people where they stood, no judgement, but take the time to see them. My Mom would introduce us to people in public that some would stare at, including me. We would say hello, we wanted to meet you. Some of the mom's would thank us saying how most people look at them funny or as if they are freaks. One man told us about how he lost his arm and why he had a hook in its place. As I grew up I always took the time to get to know people and really care. I enjoy giving of myself to people that need a little help with somethings. I like to do whatever I can to help out. I'm strong and have healing hand in the sense of warm to the touch and can give help to sore spots. I like to assist in what people need and I enjoy taking the time. I like making things look nice and I love to cook for everyone. I was able to take care of my Mom before she died. My husband and I moved in with my mom and dad for the last 2 years. I felt it was a privilege to care for my parents who gave me so much love. I know my mom was very grateful for the help, but what made me feel good was that she knew I honestly felt it a privilege to care for her.
