I graduated college in 2013. I have been in healthcare for over 20 years what got me started in 1992 when my son was born with a disability. I knew a little while after he was born that i had a love for caring for people. After being a home health aid for a year i knew i wanted to expand my horizon's so i did. I became a certified nursing assistant working with the elderly in 2007. I am a great caregiver because am highly dependable, am compassionate, patient, a good listener and highly skilled to taking care of older people and children. I took care of my grandmother in Africa Uganda who had diabetes, it was fulling to make a person comfortable in their pain, that made me want to take my career to the next level when i came to USA... What i enjoy most about caregiving is making the elderly comfortable and enabling them live normal lives regardless. My personal achievement is becoming a CNA recently! Never been proud because in addition to my experience, am now a certified Nursing Assistant!

I really enjoy being a caregiver, I currently work with developmental and disability behavioral patients. What I enjoy most about what I do is that I learn a lot from my patients everyday . I first became a caregiver when I started taking care of my aging parents. It was imperative to me that they were comfortable, healthy, and happy.
