I have experience working with all types of people not just elderly.I also have experience working with hospice patients.Yes i have learn so much over the years as working as a caregiver.I am a very patience when working with my residents or anybody i come in contact with.

I am a single Mom of two Sons, 25 and 22. When they were younger, I volunteered and worked at their schools as well as coached their soccer and basketball teams. I've volunteered at churches, senior homes and The American Red Cross. I am compassionate, empathetic, a good listener, responsible, dependable and trustworthy. I'm also outgoing, patient and have a strong desire to help others! I love caregiving and my goal is to successfully take care of a client's needs while making their day as enjoyable as possible through conversation and laughter, activities, etc. I have been a caregiver for both men and women and have 10 years of caregiving experience. I treat them the same way I would like to be treated and the way I would like my mother to be treated if she needed care. Empathy and compassion. Working with people in a home care setting, it is essential that a caregiver feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion caregivers will let the person they are caring for know that they care about the person and want to do what they can to help them.
