Hello, my name is Melba! My experience with caregiving started the year of 2010. I started caring seniors to make a difference in their lives. For people with high levels of care needed, my support in invaluable. Treating them with attentive, proper, and respectful care is a significant role to ensure they retain their dignity and independence during the latter stages of life. For me, helping seniors and others is a great accomplishment and feels highly rewarding, knowing that I could turn a unbearable day into a great one. Caregiving taught me knowledge from listening to experiences and stories one might gladly share. Memories are priceless and can give a wonderful insight and transport you to a time from a person's different perspective. To me, having that kind of opportunity gives life more meaning. Cna experience of 2 years, I moved from Kansas City to beautiful Illinois a couple months ago, I find being a CNA is the most gratifying experience out there, making beautiful connections, listening to stories and providing that compassion. Being a mom of 2, I only expect the same love I give out, for my children later in the years!
