I'm a licensed CNA . Before that I was a housewife for 22 years. I have the hugest heart and a lot of medical training to go with it! Just recently lost both of the exceptional 90 year old beautiful women I cared for for the last two years. One of them I was able to move in with and do round the clock care for the last three weeks of her life due to unfortunately her getting Covid. I had the privilege to be with her while she took her last breath since none of her 5 children could not be with her since she was Covid positive. I've had all my Covid Vaccinations and I'm ready to go back to work for either one or two amazing exceptional super seniors!! I find it extremely rewarding to be able to give love and care to people in need.

Hello! My name is Desiree and I have been caregiving professionally since 2008 beginning with my cousin with developmental disabilities. My first job after high school was housekeeping in nursing home and hospital and I always found myself trying to interact with the clients, whether it just be conversations or pushing them back to their rooms after meals. I have mostly worked in CILA homes taking care of the developmentally disabled and I absolutely enjoyed every moment and every prrsonality I ever met! Never a full moment, I began as a DSP and was a house manager for the same company. I have also worked some side jobs taking care of the elderly, a couple until they passed, and another until she just didn't need the extra help Amy more. I have wanted be a caregiver for as long as I can remember, I had a grandpa that had lost both legs, one due to a stroke and the other because of Gangrene. My grandmother need a lot of help with him from changing diapers to helping with feeding once he got a feeding tube, and I was always their! I don't feel like myself unless I'm helping someone else live their best life!

I have worked with developmentally disabled people to severely mentally I'll people and each individual had so many unique qualities and everyone of them had something to offer in their community. They taught me to be a much more patient,attentive and to be a great listener. Not just to hear but listen and I believe that's so very important for a person to be heard. At the end of the day if I'm able to reflect back on my day and know I've done my very best for my clients and hopefully made their quality of life that much better then I can truely say I had a great day and hopefully positively impacted those I've interacted with on that day.
