Hello, My name is Amy and I am a caregiver in your area here in Northern Kentucky. I have been helping families with the care of their loved ones since the 80's when I first helped my grandparents friend's family. They knew that I would take great of him and treat him with respect and dignity. I come from a background of working in customer service and management positions but I also have numerous years of working for other caregiving agencies and as a private caregiver. Approximately 15 years ago, I became my mother's Caregiver after she came home from Rehab for a major stroke. After working in a Family Medical office for a couple years, I began my Caregiver career. In the past 10+ years, I have worked as a Home Health Aide and CNA, providing many services to families and their loved ones, including (but not limited to) Alzheimers, Dementia, Quadriplegic, and Hospice Care. Services provided include companionship, transportation, meal prep, feeding, light housekeeping, pericare, input/output, taking and recording vitals, catheter care, colostomy care, medication reminders, assistance with bathing, showers, dressing, transfers, wound care maintenance, and oxygen maintenance. My special focus has been with Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I am a CNA and certified in CPR and First Aid, and continue to work on completing additional medical courses and pursue avenues to help strengthen me as a Professional Caregiver. I also maintain current Individual Professional Liability Insurance. Your loved ones peace of mind, comfort and health is my priority.

I'm a compassionate person that loves people and animals. The joy I can bring to others gives me so much happiness. I've provided care both professionally and personally to a variety of need levels. As the oldest of 3 girls and a Mom that worked as an RN doing 12 hour shifts, I learned caregiving from an early age and realized it was my calling. I'm a proud Ovarian Cancer survivor and very grateful that I have lots of living left to do! I love to learn new things and continue to take college courses each year to exercise my mind. I have been a C.N.A and or caregiver for about 15 years off and on. I have done in home care, assisted living, and long term care in a skilled facility. Caring for people has always been second nature to me. I enjoy taking care of people, making them feel a high quality of life. I am a mom of 4, with a bonus child and 2 beautiful grandbabies 1 of whom lives with me. I am married and we recently moved to Kentucky and are buying land!

I am very loyal and trust worthy. I became a Caregiver because as a teenager, my family took care of my grandfather who was bedridden and had dementia. I was in charge of his breakfast and morning medicine. I found much fulfillment and dedication to help those who can not help them selves. My personal achievements that I am so proud of, is that of the personal relationships I have made throughout my career! One client asked me, "Why are you so nice to me?" I have an associates degree of RN and have taken care of people with a wide variety of conditions. I am educated and skilled in the nursing field and believe it is my calling.
