I'm 32 years old and I have been a caregiver/ CNA for 10 years. First and foremost I love what I do. Being able to help others is what I enjoy most about being a caregiver. The skills I've obtained over my years of working in different areas such as nursing homes, hospitals, and etc qualifies me to do my job to the best of my abilities. I am a great caregiver because Im patient , loyal, reliable, has a caring heart, and can keep you energized through tough times. My grandma attracted me to become a caregiver when I was 18 year's old I took care of my grandma when she was on hospice. I feel the time I had with her was the best may not have been what I imagine but we made the best out of it and I love everything I did and I wouldn't change nothing. That's what made me just want to become a caregiver. I enjoy everything about being a caregiver, like feeding time give you time to get to know them more talk about there favorite things or watch tv doing things they enjoy most. I like to get a bond with them. I'm proud of resourcefulness, flexibility and determination.

I'm a certified nurse assistant I've been certified for almost 5 years now. I've done pretty much every kind of job in the nursing field you can name like bed side In hospitals, nursing homes, group homes, hospice, you name it I've done! I've also worked with ppl with many different illness and people with many different situations as well, I've worked/cared for people with Alzheimers, dementia, parkinson, people with feeding tubes & etc. I'm also a college student as well working to become a Physician assistant.
