I am confident that I am a great Certified Nursing Assistant,because I believe in giving my all to my client to make them appreciative and Happy. Becoming a CNA has given me the ability to go above and beyond the call of duty for my clients while providing services. I am happiest and most fulfilled while caring for others. I fell in love with nursing in 1978 when I started my first job as a Nursing Assistant. I found that I was not only doing a job, I was caring for a person with an extensive life history that I could learn from. People who had family who loved them but were no longer able to care for them. I went on to get my LPN in 1986 and finally RN in 2012. I have provided care in Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Centers, private care in homes, Home Care through agencies and have cared for my patients and their families with integrity and compassion. Aging parents have caused me to reevaluate the need for flexibility and the availability to now also provide care for them. This means the typical nursing block schedule is no longer a good fit for my families needs. I will continue to provide compassionate care for others but it will look different than it has in the past.

I just quit last August 24th 2018 and part time at AME community (group home) for 3 years now. I like communicating with the clients and help them out when they needs help and sometimes there is a challenge, but that is part of a job too. Provides the best care to the clients.

Hello I am Tanisha Knight, Before I started working in this field of health care. I took great passion and love to care for my mother who was terminally ill 23 years ago. After that I knew I was meant to do this line of work. Giving a person hope after loosing all hope is the beauty in why I love working in the health care field.

I have cared for my grandmother when I was 12.. from then on I knew I wanted to help people in need..tasks I provide is meal prepping medication reminders or administer..errands..light house keeping .bathing.. laundry..Hospice cares..ADLS cares if needed! Can provide 1.1 ..vitals.i am Cpr certified .... cares include ..dressing..bathing...grooming...feeding if needed...exercises include walking if the client is able...outings can include church services.... cath care..ostomy care...can operate a hoyer lift or easy stand...can do blood sugars...I can provide cares also At hospitals and ..facilities.. Socialization..companionship is also a must.....I can work monday thru friday 8 to 12 hours shifts ...every other weekend...can also work shorter shifts ...and holidays are time and a half. paid milage for long distances .. since I won't be with my family during that time ...

I know this sounds lame, but I always knew I wanted to be a nurse. I love the rewarding feeling I get from giving. Now, when I was a kid that was another story. I carried all of my toys in a brown grocery bag and you would have to fight me to get me to share! I love listening and learning from others. I feel that this has only improved my caregiving skills. I have worked with all ages, races, religions, disabilities and I treat each person the same. We all deserve dignity and respect regardless of our situation. I'm kind, but love to laugh and have a good time. Most importantly I know how to act appropriate for the situation. I believe an achievement that I can truly be proud of everyday is that I have the ability to take life as it comes and always put things into perspective. I hold my family close to my heart. I can provide a reciprocal relationship of professional care and companionship.
