Hello everyone my name is Darlene Billups,i have been a caregiver for over twenty years,i got my CNA license at Kennedy King College back in 1979.iI love helping people and making them happy,I also love to cook learn and talk to my clients so that they can get to know me as well as me knowing them.AM now going to school on line for my bachelor in Criminal Justice so that i can get my license for Mental Health.My most proudest moment was going back to school to further my education in the health field.

I enjoy being with and caring for the residents I love elderly so it drawed me to work and care for them I'm proud to be able to even work with these types of people

I love being a caregiver because I love helping people, as it makes me feel good about myself. I enjoy watching sports and baking is my favorite past time I have been a caregiver for 40 years I started with 20 years in a nursing home and the last 20 years in home health care

I bring to the table 10 years of taking care of elderly all the way to mental illness. I love that we can allow the elderly to stay in their homes for as long as possible. I work full time at Mayo Clinic and looking to make extra cash. I also pick up at home instead going to clients homes and helping them with what they need

The personality traits I have as a caregiver are that I'm always willing to do what is best for the client and being understanding of what they are going through and what they need from me. I was attracted to being a caregiver mostly because I've been taking care of others for almost 4 years now and really enjoy it. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to help any way that I can if that be with cares that they need help doing or just listening as many clients just like to have someone to talk with. I been c.n.a for 17yr and I love doing this kind of work. One thing I can say is dis is my career of choice. I love take care of ealdy people.the most thing I like about my job is the smile I put on my residents face. I'm proud of when I come into work and my residents are so excited to see me.
