I love being a caregiver because I love to help people and its something I always wanted to do. Something I like about being a caregiver is that you get to help a person and sometimes save a life. My personal achievement I'm proud of is graduating and becoming a cna. I am 20 years old and I plan on becoming a rn every since I was little this was my dream.

I started caregiving with my parents. Mother was diabetic and father had Alzheimer's. I helped my sister with her husband. Then two aunt in their old age both 90 plus years.

Being a caregiver is something that I decided to do at the age of 14. When I was younger I always spent time with my grandmother cooking, baking, playing games and loved every minute of it! What I love most about being a caregiver is getting to know more about the client and childhood stories. I'm proud to say I will be starting nursing school soon and one thing about me is I never meet a stranger. I'm easy going friendly and can hold a conversation with anyone!

Hi, My name is Somer THompson. I am a single mother of 3 beautiful children whom I work and live for each and everyday. I have been a CNA for 3 years now, and caring for others is my passion. I am currently in school for phlebotomy to further my career in nursing to provide my children with there needs. My life long dream has to become an LPN but has settled for a CNA, as I work with my patients I treat them as if they were family and I go out of my way to make sure they get the best care they need.
