Hello, I'm Jennafer. I previously worked for a VA Medical Center as a nurses aid. I loved my job, unfortunately I moved and it was too far in distance. I am CPR certified, and have experience with most common elderly illnesses and diseases. I worked with a lot of patients suffering from either dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, urinary, respiratory, cardiopulmonary, restorative, and more. I absolutely enjoy making people happy and being part of people's lives, which is one reason I believe makes me great at care giving. I love to talk and companionship is a big plus for me in the healthcare field. I am very compassionate about the care I provide and I enjoy the friendships I get to make. I am always looking for ways and opportunities to better my skills and care. Just for a little extra info, I do speak some spanish, however not too fluent; I also play several musical instruments in which I got to share music with some of the residents I cared for. I am an excellent worker, friend, and companion and I hope to get the opportunity to show and express it to you and your loved one(s)!

My name is Chelsea. I have worked in nursing homes/ primary care for 10 years. I find myself a very caring, compassionate, patient and understanding person. I try to find the good in every situation. In the last year I took a break from healthcare and took a position in childcare. Somewhat the same as care giving but on the other end of the spectrum. I enjoy creating relationships with my patients and giving them the care they deserve. While working in elderly care I found a majority of the staff was there for the paycheck, I can't say that for myself. I felt important as I became closer with my residents as they felt the comfortable with me as they couldn't with some of the staff. Caring for people makes me feel good because I am making someone feel happy and that is important at their time in life no matter what age, Having to have help is always hard and to have someone that understands , is patient and kind is key in my eyes.

I possess a high level of attention to detail as well as a willingness to do what needs to be done. I always go above and beyond my scope of practice to help my clients achieve the maximum level of independence while acting as a supplement to their abilities. In my opinion, assisting with activities of daily living goes well above and beyond just personal hygiene and meal prep. It means helping the client stay engaged in the community as desired. Getting out and continuing to be active as able. I excel with clients and families that are looking for high quality care as well as compassion and drive to achieve. I like to push for whats possible and work well with a family and care team that is actively involved with day to day on goings and encourages client to maintain maximum health and independence regardless of affliction or disability. My story.. When I was 14 years old my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia. She declined very fast and my grandfather (already being 76 years old) couldn't care for her on his own. So my twin brother and I moved in full time with my grandparents and helped care for her at a very young age. Soon after she passed my grandfather was diagnosed with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, and my family was ready to find a LTC facility (Long Term Care facility) where they could care for him. My brother and I absolutely refused the idea of him being moved out of his home he worked so hard for, so we then continued to take care of him until last year. My whole life has been dedicated to caring for other individuals. Not only do I hold myself to the highest standards of care, but I love doing what I do and show compassion at an all time high, because I put myself in other individuals shoes. This job/career will be my career for a lifetime and I am an extremely family orientated person.

Hi there! I have 25 plus years experience as a caregiver and first responder. My area of expertise is in caring for seniors living with dementia and adults with developmental disabilities. I'm a retired LPN of 15 years active status. I possess excellent references, own a reliable vehicle and am in great health at 55. I am joyful, dependable, positive and communicate well with family members and medical professionals.

I have been doing Home care/Assisted Living for on and off about 10 years, I did Home care before I went to college to get my certification for home health aide and have been working in assisted living since 2013, I just recently went back to home care. I love the one on one interaction and love helping others in their own home so they feel more confident and comfortable. I have memory care experience also.

I have become, what I consider myself to be, an amazing caregiver. I have a huge heart and i tend to put everyone I care for above and beyond everything else. I listen carefully to peoples needs as well as wants and do my very best to provide what is expected by them or the families NO QUESTION. I decided I wanted to be a caregiver at a young age. My grandmother was diagnosed with dementia and everyone in my family brushed it off as just 'old age'. Well, I wanted to learn more about this dementia and see what I could do to help better her life and the lives of others in this predicament. What I am proud of most is all the positive feedback from families as well as co-workers, managers included, about how great I am and how lucky a place or family is to have me. I have many personal achievements but the one I am most proud of, is I will ALWAYS and forever as long as I am caring for loved ones of my own or others, put quality over quantity. I have learned that people need good care no matter the life span, young or old.

I became a care giver at a very young age i used to go to work with my mother and help out with what ever i could, i became a cna at the age of 12, and have been around the elderly my whole life,I like being a care giver because i enjoy helping people, and listening to there storys from when they were young, My achievement is helping people that need it the most and some of the eldrely have no family so i try to become there family and put a smile on there face thats my achievement making someone happy. i am a recent widow and i have 2 grow children and 3 grandchildren,i live alone and enjoy life.

I am a natural-born caregiver. Caring for others has been a skill that naturally came to me. I am fun, loving, outgoing, and have a very big heart. I enjoy meeting new people.
