This has been my dream of working in the medical field since I was young. I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes, Dr. Office and cared for people in their homes over 30 years. What attracted me to this field was I use to go to work with my mother when I was in Jr. High School caring for patient in a nursing home, and the Private clients in their homes. I have not only cared for Seniors, Some of my jobs was caring for Babies, Children with disabilities and needed a caregiver I enjoy the most most is giving my help and support and bring joy to my clients, letting them know that I am there for them. Hello! My name is Kqortni, Im 18 about to be 19 years old. Since I was a child I've always found myself drawn to the elderly. I love them and I've always wanted to be the one to help them when they were in need. Whether it was family, family friend, a stranger, a teacher, it didn't matter. I wanted to be there for them and show them love. I feel my compassion and patience would work perfectly when being a caregiver. The main thing I enjoy about being a caregiver is just seeing that smile on their face sometimes or just knowing that they know someone cares for them. Sometimes people tend to abandon and treat the patients badly and I want to be that person for them to turn to.
