Hello! My name is Brittany and I've been a CNA for 7 years now. I have experience in hospitals, long term care, home care, and travel healthcare. I have a passion for people. I love making people laugh and spending time with them. I love care giving because it gives me a sense of achievement when I've made the persons day and knowing that I'm able to help them in any ways I can. I have been working the the health field for 18 years. I have worked in home care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and psych hospitals. I love helping people. I love to sit and hear their the stories of their past. I am a very caring person and treat all my residents as if they were my own family. My mother was an aide when I was younger and I always admired what she did and wanted to do the same. I love everything there is about being a caregiver, from the good days to the bad. Every moment, every day is very rewarding. I have two personal achievements that I am most proud of. The first one is my three children. They are my everything and my reason to get up every day and keep doing what I do. My second one is the fact that I am now back in school. I never had enough self confidence to do it but with the support of my children and my boyfriend I know I can accomplish it and be great at it.

I am the oldest of four, and a single mother, caregiving is natural to me. I cared for both of my grandparents in their later years, so they were able to stay at home as long as possible. I find immense joy in spending time caring for others. I have always been good with children and found that I am also gifted in dealing with elderly patients with dementia. I would love to spend my extra time caring for others as I work my way through seminary to become a pastor.

I completed my Licensed Practical Nursing degree in 1981. I began working in the home health field and found I really enjoyed the one on one connection with those I cared for. Ive had compliments on both my cooking and housekeeping skills. Im 52 years old and have 3 grown daughters and one grandson. I completed 2 additional degrees. I have an associate degree in early childhood education and an associate degree in Criminal Justice. I love to volunteer and had been a Girl Scout Leader, helped the American Red Cross with fundraising activities, and was a PTA President and Vice President. I am a hardworking, detail oriented caregiver. I have experience with all aspects of home care including bathing, feeding, dressing, use of hoyer lifts and assist with ROM exercises. I also houseclean, cook, and run errands.

My name is Brittany Wood im a 22 year old CNA,I just moved to the area. Ever since i was a child i have always enjoyed helping others. From 11 years old till i was 21 i assisted taking care of my aunt who has intellectual disability and is also blind, this consisted of helping prepare meals, bathing and dressing. At 14 i helped care for my grandmother while she was in hospice at my home. When i went to high school i got my CNA license through our BOCES program. I was a CNA at a nursing home in Warsaw NY for the last 3 years. My residents loved my company and im very excited to help you!
