I became interested in the healthcare field while serving as a missionary in Guatemala where I worked with poor people living in the mountains, garbage dumps, and street children hooked on glue. Many times after serving I would come home crying because of the plight of the people I served but I love reaching out to help others and served for four years. Here in New York City at one time I also worked with homeless people living in shelters and in the parks. I have worked in nursing homes in Florida and in homecare in New York City. I love being a caregiver, impacting humanity in a positive way as I help to improve and maintain health. Each and every individual that I serve is important to me and I treat him/her with respect, and dignity. I am a hard worker, patient, kind hearted, honest, and reliable. I attended college and the knowledge and skills I received in school have equipped me with the means to better care for clients.
